Henley Royal Regatta

Henley Regatta was first held in 1839 on Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. The country’s premier rowing event (the Course is 1 mile 550 yards). The Regatta has often been honored by visits of members of the Royal Family.

A major part of Henley Regatta is the Stewards’ Charitable Trust; with the principal objective to provide funds to encourage and support young people (still receiving education or undergoing training) to row or scull.
